I see you waiting at the bridge
Pale like a phantom of the night.
You call out to me with no voice
Trying to walk my way.

You're bound to the edge,
Te edge of your fate;
I tried to save you once,
But I can't just wait.

As you stand upon the ledge
Flashing lights sparking up.
They are to bright to see
What I will never describe.

I then begin my routine again
Each and every week;
Coming back to the place
Where we did first meet.
For this poem there is a story, but I'm not telling you my version. We all think differently, so I want to know what you think the story is. What is this poems meaning to you? Feel free to tell me what you think. :)

Well... your bridge feels broken.
I've felt so from the first time I read it, but I noticed the note now.

I may have a point.
I'd say it's two people who first met by the bridge and one of them ended up jumping from it.

Honestly, I see this as a tale of someone who jumped off a bridge and then the main person going back to the bridge to be closer to the jumper. I don't know. my brain is dark right now.

Interesting, that is what I was thinking as well.
