Let's Talk About Revenge

Shatter the mind like glass,
But what shall you obtain?
A thoughtless zombie
Or another lost to insanity.

Go and break one's heart,
And what shall remain?
A never ending anger,
A forever raging hate.

Extinguish a burning spirit,
What arises from the smoke?
Nothing but dying embers
Snuffed out by a boot.

Take away a living soul,
And what shall you leave behind?
An empty husk of someone
Who was loved by many.

That's what happened to my sister,
Do you remember that little girl?
The one you took from my family,
A wound that will never heal.

After what you've done
Why do you not suffer as well?
Why does evil like you live on
While beauty like her died?

What gives you the right to live?
It is only fair if you repay your debt.
You deserve to suffer that fate
Just as my sister had to.

I know this wont change things,
And my sister won't return.
Is this really what she would want?
No, I can't think if this now.

I have a plan in my mind,
And I want what I deserve.
So after all that's happened,
